By downloading, accessing, or using Doctor At Home, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

A. Personal & Health Data (Stored Strictly On-Device)

Doctor At Home provides features that allow you to track, monitor, and calculate various health and wellness metrics. This includes:

  • Health Vitals & Metrics: Blood pressure, blood sugar levels, HbA1c, eGFR, body weight, height, BMI, BMR, and body fat calculations.

  • Women’s & Reproductive Health Data: Menstrual cycle dates, ovulation tracking, and pregnancy due date calculations.

  • Medical Management Data: Medication schedules, pill reminders, doctor appointment logs, and personal medical notes.

🔒 Important Privacy Note: All personal health, vitals, fitness, reproductive tracking data, and medical notes entered into the app are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or host your sensitive personal health data on external servers operated by us.

B. Automatically Collected Data

To ensure technical functionality, optimize performance, and display advertisements, the app utilizes third-party software development kits (SDKs) that may collect limited technical data automatically:

  • Log Data: Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device brand and model, operating system version, app crash reports, system configuration, and time/date stamps of usage.

  • Device & Analytics Identifiers: Anonymous installation IDs, performance analytics, and Advertising Identifiers.

2. Health Data Privacy Disclosures

To comply with global privacy standards and mobile marketplace policies:

  • No Sale of Health Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your health, fitness, or medical tracking data to any third parties.

  • No Personalized Advertising Based on Health Data: We strictly prohibit the use of your health tracking logs, vitals, or reproductive health data for ad-targeting or profile-building purposes.

3. Third-Party Services & Links

The app utilizes trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for analytics, app functionality, and advertising.

Below are links to the privacy policies of the third-party service providers used by Doctor At Home:

4. Device Permissions

To provide complete functionality, Doctor At Home may request access to specific device features:

  • Physical Activity / Motion Sensors: Required for the built-in step counter and fitness dashboard.

  • Notifications & Alarms: Required to send scheduled pill reminders, appointment alerts, and daily health tips.

  • Storage / Local Memory: Required to save your personal notes, bookmarks, custom remedies, and settings on your device.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's operating system settings.

5. Usage of Advertising Identifier (AAID / IDFA)

In accordance with developer guidelines:

  • Advertising & Analytics Only: The advertising identifier is used exclusively to serve contextual or non-sensitive ads and measure ad performance.

  • Respecting User Opt-Outs: We honor user selections such as "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID" configured in your Android device settings.

  • No Association with Personal Data: The advertising identifier is never linked to personally identifiable information without your explicit consent.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small data files stored on internal device memory. Doctor At Home does not explicitly set cookies directly. However, third-party libraries (such as AdMob or Firebase) may use cookies or web beacons to collect anonymous usage metrics. You can choose to accept or refuse these cookies via your system or ad preference settings.

7. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

Because your personal health logs, medical notes, reminders, and favorite items are saved locally on your device's internal storage:

  • You can modify or delete individual logs, notes, or reminders directly within the app at any time.

  • You can erase all stored data permanently by going to your Android device settings (Settings > Apps > Doctor At Home > Storage > Clear Data) or simply by uninstalling the app.

8. Children’s Privacy

Doctor At Home does not knowingly target, collect, or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 18 without parental consent for medical reference tools). If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can assist in addressing the concern.

9. Security

We prioritize user trust and utilize standard operating system security controls to protect local data. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
